Responses received by FEW on the use of the electronic identity card in Covasna County, compiled in an anonymised PDF together with a summary of the Foundation’s initiative. The prefecture reports 2,285 vehicle registration transactions and 3,087 driving licence transactions for applicants identified using the CEI.

What the document contains
28 institutions responded to the requests concerning the CEI, domicile and validation of healthcare services, including the prefecture, mayor’s offices, the health insurance house, a hospital and county agencies. The Mayor’s Office of the Town of Întorsura Buzăului reports purchasing eight readers, five of them working. The ‘Bod Péter’ County Library does not use readers configured for the CEI and requires a certificate confirming domicile on registration.
