Iași Driving Licence and Vehicle Registration Service states that it checks domicile directly in the population records database, without asking CEI holders for separate proof. Târgu Frumos Mayor’s Office reports working readers, without a record of the number of readings, while Iași General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection states that electronic reading was not yet available.
