Responses received by FEW on the use of the electronic identity card in Arad County, compiled in an anonymised PDF together with a summary of the Foundation’s initiative. The institutions report both the availability of CEI readers and the absence of separate statistics on use of the document.

What the document contains
The responses from 27 institutions, including hospitals, mayor’s offices, tax services and county agencies, describe CEI reader equipment, verification of domicile and validation of healthcare services. The Mayor’s Office of the Town of Lipova reports 15 readers in operation, while the Mayor’s Office of the Town of Pâncota, which has no readers, reports 500 transactions involving paper evidence, including 219 tax transactions.
