Responses received by FEW on the use of the electronic identity card in Brăila County, compiled in an anonymised PDF together with a summary of the Foundation’s initiative. The responses distinguish between available readers, the absence of separate monitoring and healthcare validations using the CEI that were not carried out during the reference period.

What the document contains
The responses come from 20 institutions, including hospitals, the health insurance house, mayor’s offices, the prefecture and the county library, and concern CEI use. Făurei Town Hospital reports five working readers but recorded no services validated using the CEI in the period 12.02.2026–11.08.2026. The prefecture reports 3,622 vehicle registration transactions and 3,856 driving licence transactions for applicants identified using the CEI.
