Responses received by FEW on the use of the electronic identity card in Olt County, compiled in an anonymised PDF together with a summary of the Foundation’s initiative. Several institutions report having no CEI readers, while the healthcare responses explain non-use of the document by the stage of technical implementation.

What the document contains
The information on the CEI comes from 23 institutions, including hospitals, mayor’s offices, tax services, the prefecture and the health insurance house. Slatina General Economic Directorate has had four working readers since 26 June 2026; the application does not store a history of checks. The Prefect’s Office – Olt County reports verifying domicile for driving licences and vehicle registration by querying RNEP, without making transactions conditional on the availability of a reader.
